Background

The Universal Society of Hinduism started in the mind of the Hindu statesman, Rajan Zed. His vision was to create an organization that would bring people together, represent Hindus across the world, and take the basic tenants of Hinduism to educate and empower people to create a better world around them and leave a better world for the future generations.

After years of toying with the idea and perfecting the vision, the Universal Society of Hinduism was born. Over the years the Society has sponsored many events and stood up for many humanitarian causes before being established as an official entity.

In September 2011, the Universal Society of Hinduism was officially established and headquartered in Reno, Nevada.
